May 12, 2021 @ 2:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Free
Join the CHSA Community for a roundtable discussion on Asian American/Pacific Islander History Month!

About this Event

Even though the CHSA Museum may be physically closed, we hope to keep the community united during the time apart through our online, roundtable discussions. We will be hosting online roundtables on the second Wednesdays of the month.

This month’s topic will focus on Asian American/Pacific Islander History Month. Join us for a discussion of our shared history and how we remember, preserve, and celebrate it.

Participation: This is an interactive event. We encourage everyone to check that your microphones and cameras are working so that you can engage in the discussion. Space is limited to encourage participation among attendees.

More information about the Roundtable will be sent to all registered guests the day before the discussion. Registering late? Please let us know and we can send the information directly to you!

Registration & Access Information: Access information, as well as potential discussion questions, will be emailed to registered participants 24 hours and 30 minutes prior to the start of the Roundtable.

Roundtable Topics: If you have a topic you would like to discuss for Roundtable, please contact CHSA with a brief description of the topic and 3-4 discussion questions. Past discussions have included:

  • Literature by Asian and Asian American Authors
  • Cooking and Eating Out During the Pandemic
  • Asian and Asian American Films
  • Civil Right and Showing Solidarity
  • Autumn Moon Festival
  • Traveling during the Pandemic
