The steadily increasing size of the Pentagon Budget has been a long concern of those who favor the redirection of military spending to the physical and social infrastructure of our country. We were moved to organize this forum because there is a projection for a Substantial Increase in the Pentagon Budget for 2023.
The Pentagon Budget has never been successfully audited.
Congresswoman Barbara Lee has been in the forefront of efforts to “Audit the Pentagon Budget”.
The Forum is being co-sponsored by the Berkeley Democratic Club, the Tri-Valley Democratic Club, the Southern Alameda County Progressive Democrats, and OREB (Our Revolution East Bay).
Additional cosponsorships are welcome.
