Alameda County's Oldest Democratic Club
This event is hosted by Berkeley Mayor Jesse Arreguin and the Alameda County Democratic Central Committee and co-hosted by the Berkeley Democratic Club & Berkeley Democratic Caucus. More co-hosts in formation.
We’ll be centered at Martin Luther King Jr. Civic Center Park (2151 MLK Jr. Way) conveniently located near the Downtown Berkeley BART station and numerous bus lines. Free on-street parking is usually available nearby on Sundays. We’ll kick start at 10 AM promptly.
If you need to arrive later, please let the host know but someone will be on hand at the park. If you’d like to complete a canvassing route in Berkeley but can’t make this day, please RSVP anyway and let the host know so arrangements can be made.
Bring walking shoes, a fully charged cell phone (if you have one), and a mask. For the comfort and safety of everyone, we request that you where a mask while canvassing and socially distance when voters answer the door.
It’ll be a beautiful and temperate day, perfect walking weather for a very important cause.
Please RSVP, so we can anticipate the number of attendees for this event. And share this with like-minded friends!
The Berkeley Democratic Club schedule of local political events may be of particular interest or civic importance for our membership, but does not indicate sponsorship or any other endorsement by the Berkeley Democratic Club. We hope it can foster a more engaged, interconnected, and informed community.
