Alameda County's Oldest Democratic Club
On March 25th, the Berkeley City Council will discuss an initiative
for an inclusive 18-month public process to develop the state-mandated
update to the Housing Element of the City’s General Plan.
The City of Berkeley has already adopted a resolution of commitment to
single-family zoning reform and Mayor Arreguin and
Vice-Mayor/Councilmember Droste are recommending a number of changes
to increase infill housing in transit-rich neighborhoods.
More information about the March 25th meeting can be found here
(including agenda and access to Zoom).
